This graph presents the monthly savings in CO₂ emissions based on the plant's generating power. The relationship shown allows you to visualize how an increase in the installed capacity of the plant translates into greater reductions in CO₂ emissions per month, comparing the operating results of the plant with the emissions that would be avoided if the alternative source of the System was used. National Interconnected (SNI).

To calculate the saved emissions, the CO₂ emission factor published in the 2022 CO₂ Emissions Report of the National Interconnected System (SNI) was used. This emission factor reflects the average emissions derived from the conventional generation of electricity in the country, allowing to obtain a precise estimate of the positive environmental impact of operating the plant within the monthly period considered.

This analysis is essential to quantify the environmental benefit of sustainable generation plants, showing how the displacement of conventional sources helps reduce the carbon footprint in proportion to the power generated.
